The newlyweds of Derbyshire—formerly Mr. Darcy and Miss Elizabeth Bennet—barely have time to enjoy each other’s company before unexpected visitors descend upon Pemberley.

To Elizabeth’s horror, her mother and father have invited themselves and their two married daughters  to stay with the Darcys, and their departure date remains as elusive as Mrs. Bennet’s manners. Elizabeth feels torn between her duties as a hostess and her desire to throttle her mother to have a moment’s peace.

Worse, the quest to discover the Bennets’ true motives for being there threatens the deep affection she and her husband have for each other. When Mr. Darcy learns the shocking cause of this impromptu visit, he must devise a plan with his wife to save her family from ruin… again.
